Paid vs organic

Organic distribution is what a creator's content earns from the platform unpaid; paid is distribution bought with ad budget behind it. Blended reporting hides which one worked: a post with heavy paid support proves the media buy, not the creator's pull. Contracts and reports should separate the two, and 'organic-only' fees should mean exactly that.

Worked example

12,000 organic reach plus 40,000 paid reach reported as '52,000 reach' obscures that 77% was bought — separated lines keep the next negotiation honest.
