Privacy
This site runs no advertising trackers and does no profiling. One value is stored in your own browser — your light or dark theme choice — and it is never sent to us. If you subscribe to the newsletter we store the email address you give us, and nothing else.
What’s stored in your browser
| What | Where | Why | Sent to us? |
|---|---|---|---|
| Theme preference | localStorage |
So light or dark mode persists between visits | No |
Clearing your browser storage removes it. Nothing else is set.
What we don’t do
- No advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
- No profiling and no audience segments.
- No third-party fonts or scripts from external hosts — fonts are served from this domain, so reading this site does not announce itself to a font CDN.
- No selling or sharing of personal data.
Newsletter
If you subscribe we store your email address for the purpose of sending the newsletter. We don’t ask for a name, we don’t infer anything from the address, and every email carries an unsubscribe link that works immediately. Ask and we’ll delete the record.
Server logs
The server records standard request information — IP address, timestamp, page requested, user agent — as part of running and securing the site. Ordinary technical logging on a short rolling retention, not used to build a profile.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018 you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection. In practice we hold almost nothing: no account, and no record at all unless you subscribed or wrote to us. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.
