Information, not advice
Content here describes how things generally work and what particular people have charged or paid. It is not a recommendation for your circumstances, and it cannot be — the site does not know your jurisdiction, your contract, your client, or your runway.
Money and tax content in particular is general information only. Before making a decision with tax or legal consequences, take advice from someone who knows your actual situation.
Figures and accuracy
Rates, prices and tool costs are checked on a date, which is printed with them. Prices change without notice, platform terms change constantly, and tax rules change annually. Treat any figure as accurate as of its stamp and verify anything you’re about to act on.
Where a figure is one person’s experience it says so. That is a sample of one, and it is labelled that way rather than dressed as an average.
